About Great Northwest, Inc.
Company History -
Great Northwest Inc, is a closely held business incorporated in the State of Alaska. Inception was in 1975 when our firm began as a small residential landscaping contractor. Over the years we have evolved into a major general construction company.
Employees -
Great Northwest, Inc. employs between 50 and 250 employees depending upon workload. Most of our work is performed under union labor agreements on a project basis. Specialty subcontractors are added for items requiring welded steel piping, mechanical construction, electrical construction, concrete construction, vertical construction and other specialties.

Community Involvement -
Great Northwest, Inc. maintains strong ties to the local and statewide community supporting many civic, youth, sports and community organizations through donations of labor, equipment, material, cash and goods as well as maintaining an active membership participating in many of these organizations. Great Northwest, Inc. also provides training area for local labor and other organizations to facilitate their exercises.
